Hoi An Ancient Town

A UNESCO site half an hour from Da Nang. On the 14th night of each lunar month the town cuts its lights and runs on lanterns.

Cu Lao Cham — the biosphere reserve

UNESCO listed the Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An Biosphere Reserve in 2009. Eight islands and over 300 hectares of reef holding some 300 coral species; snorkel off Hon Lao, then eat seafood on the beach.

My Son Sanctuary

A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. More than seventy Champa temples raised between the 4th and 13th centuries for Shiva; about twenty still hold their original form. Go early, before the heat.
