Phu Quoc Island · 1h30 flight

Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island, about an hour and a half by air from Da Nang. Sao Beach on the southern shore is the one people name: fine white sand and shallow water a long way out.

The An Thoi archipelago offshore has the snorkelling, reached from the main island by the world’s longest over-sea cable car.

Almost everything here happens outdoors and depends on the weather, so the leg needs at least two nights — better suited to guests staying on after the show than to a quick hop.
