On the morning of September 3, 2026, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang Tourism Association held a working session with the Organizing Committee of DITF – Da Nang International Tourism Festival 2026 to review progress and agree on key priorities during the final preparation phase for the event.
Under the theme “Connecting Partners, Creating Future,” DITF 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 16–19, 2026, with the main activities concentrated on October 17–18 at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang.
Towards a results-driven B2B event for the tourism industry
During the meeting, the Standing Committee and Organizing Committee reviewed preparations for inviting buyers and sellers, Business Matching sessions, destination and product inspection programs, thematic seminars, exhibition areas, logistics and hospitality arrangements.
According to the current plan, DITF 2026 is targeting more than 1,500 participants, including 150+ international buyers, 400+ domestic buyers and 200+ sellers.
A major highlight of DITF 2026 will be its Business Matching and B2B networking program. International and domestic buyers will participate in dedicated business sessions, while also visiting product showcases and attending thematic seminars.
Importantly, the program will go beyond meetings at B2B tables. Buyers will have opportunities to directly explore and experience Da Nang’s tourism products, from hotels and resorts to gastronomy, entertainment, attractions and newly developed destination services.
This reflects one of the key priorities of the Da Nang Tourism Association: integrating firsthand product experiences into tourism trade promotion so that buyers can better understand the products, assess their potential for inclusion in tour programs, and move toward concrete cooperation following the event.
Connecting Da Nang to markets and Vietnam to the world
DITF is envisioned as more than an event exclusively for Da Nang’s tourism business community.
Through a network of buyers, sellers, airlines, OTAs, tour operators and domestic and international partners, the Da Nang Tourism Association aims to gradually develop DITF into an annual tourism trade platform where destinations and businesses from across Vietnam can introduce their products to high-potential source markets.
Alongside B2B activities, the program will feature thematic seminars on tourism development, product and service inspection programs, exhibition areas, a Welcome Dinner and Gala Dinner.
The activities are designed to create continuous engagement among buyers, sellers, government authorities, experts and the business community throughout DITF.
HORECFEX continues to partner with DITF 2026
A notable feature of this year’s DITF is the continued participation of HORECFEX Vietnam as a partner of the event.
This collaboration broadens the DITF ecosystem beyond destination promotion and tourism trade to include technology, innovation and emerging solutions for the hospitality, restaurant and tourism industries.
DITF therefore seeks to address not only the question:
“How can we bring more visitors to Da Nang and Vietnam?”
but also the broader challenge:
“How should the tourism industry evolve to create new products, enhance customer experiences and strengthen its future competitiveness?”

With just over one month remaining until the opening of DITF 2026, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Organizing Committee, affiliated associations and relevant partners will continue to refine every component of the program, with particular emphasis on buyer quality, the effectiveness of B2B appointments and the depth of destination experience programs.

Da Nang Tourism Association Holds Expanded Standing Committee Meeting to Accelerate Preparations for DITF – Danang International Tourism Festival 2026
On 27 August 2026, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), together with Da Nang city authorities, announced the launch of a project to renovate and expand Terminal 1 and expand the aircraft apron (phase 1), worth over VND 9,936 billion, raising the airport’s capacity to 14 million passengers a year.
From 12 to 17 August 2026 at the Da Nang Convention and Exhibition Centre, the East–West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair – Da Nang 2026 gathers nearly 250 booths from 108 domestic and foreign businesses, six southern Lao provinces and nine diplomatic missions.
