DITF 2026: Da Nang connects international tourism trade, expanding business opportunities

The Danang International Tourism Festival 2026 (DITF 2026) is expected to bring together over 150 international buyers, more than 400 domestic buyers, and over 300 tourism service providers. The event aims to foster B2B connections, expand partner networks, and generate tangible business opportunities for Vietnamese tourism enterprises.

From October 16 to 19, 2026, the Danang International Tourism Festival 2026 (DITF 2026) will take place at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, organised by the Da Nang Tourism Association. Under the theme “Connecting Partners, Creating Future”, the event is expected to become a key trade connection platform for the tourism industry in Central Vietnam and the country as a whole.
DITF 2026 is projected to attract over 300 tourism service providers (sellers), more than 150 international buyers, over 400 domestic buyers, and more than 1,500 delegates and attendees.
More than just a space to promote products and services, DITF 2026 aims to build a professional trading environment where hotels, resorts, airlines, travel agencies, MICE operators, destinations, and technology providers can meet directly with distribution partners.
Through B2B (Business-to-Business) networking activities, the event enables parties to understand market demands, exchange products, develop tour itineraries, establish commercial relationships, and expand their capacity to bring visitors to Vietnam.

The DITF 2026 programme is designed over four days, combining trade activities, specialized seminars, product showcases, and destination site inspections.
October 16, 2026: Welcoming international partners
The Organising Committee welcomes international buyer delegations and hosts a Welcome Dinner, creating an initial networking space to enhance connections between participating businesses and partners.
October 17, 2026: Opening ceremony and tourism product showcase
The event opens the exhibition space to showcase tourism products and services. In addition, specialized seminars on Da Nang's tourism development and a site inspection programme for international buyers will help introduce supply capacity, signature products, and the destination's growth potential.
October 18, 2026: Focus on B2B trade connections
The Business Matching sessions are the core activity of DITF 2026, featuring a programme for domestic buyers in the morning and international buyers in the afternoon.
Here, businesses have the opportunity to work directly with partners, introduce products, understand distribution needs, and discuss cooperation options tailored to each market.
In the evening, the Gala Dinner offers further opportunities for networking and relationship building among delegates, businesses, and partners.
October 19, 2026: Product and destination site inspections
Buyer delegations continue to inspect accommodation facilities, products, services, and destinations before concluding the programme. This activity provides partners with a more practical perspective on service quality, hosting capacity, and the feasibility of designing tour programmes in Da Nang.
Combining direct trade with real-world experiences is expected to enhance connection efficiency, helping businesses convert contact opportunities into concrete cooperative programmes.
In an increasingly competitive tourism market, promotional activities must go beyond merely advertising images or increasing destination awareness. The effectiveness of promotion is also demonstrated by the ability to expand distribution networks, form commercial relationships, develop products, and attract actual visitor numbers.
This is also the prominent direction of DITF 2026: bringing tourism promotion activities closer to the business needs of enterprises.
Instead of just promoting Da Nang's image in international markets, the event enables partners to visit the destination directly, meet businesses, inspect accommodation facilities, and experience tourism products. Through this, parties can better assess service quality, supply capacity, and cooperation potential.
For local tourism businesses, DITF 2026 opens up opportunities to access domestic and international distribution partners, seek new markets, diversify sales channels, and expand cooperation networks.
Da Nang possesses advantages in beach tourism, leisure, MICE, culture, and connectivity with the heritage systems and destinations of Central Vietnam. This serves as a foundation for businesses to develop multi-destination itineraries, extend visitor stays, and increase tourist spending.
Therefore, the value of DITF is not limited to the city of Da Nang but can also extend to tourism businesses in many localities across the country.

Sharing the event's direction, Mr. Cao Trí Dũng, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, emphasized:
“We expect DITF to be not just a place where businesses meet, introduce products, or promote destinations, but more importantly, to create connections that can translate into cooperation opportunities and tangible business value.
In the context of a constantly changing tourism market, businesses need to be more proactive in understanding the needs of each market, improving product quality, and developing competitive experiences. To do that, close connection is required among destinations, service providers, distributors, and international partners.
Through DITF 2026, the Da Nang Tourism Association wishes to join hands with the business community to expand cooperation networks, strengthen market linkages, and make practical contributions to the development of tourism in Da Nang as well as Vietnam.”
The development of DITF reflects the increasingly proactive role of the association and the business community in tourism promotion. By connecting accommodation, travel, aviation, culinary, and technology businesses, the event aims to form a cooperative ecosystem where businesses jointly contribute to the destination's competitiveness.
For a tourism trade event, results lie not only in the number of delegates or participating businesses but also in the partnerships established, products launched to the market, and opportunities to attract visitors in subsequent tourist seasons.
With that orientation, DITF 2026 is expected to help assert Da Nang's role in the international tourism trade network, while driving promotional activities towards linking marketing with business efficiency, expanding cooperation, and developing sustainable tourism.
