DA NANG – Taking place from October 16–19, 2026 at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, the Da Nang International Tourism Festival 2026 (DITF 2026), organised by the Da Nang Tourism Association, is drawing significant attention from the domestic and international travel community. The defining feature of DITF 2026 is its strategic shift: moving away from mere destination promotion toward revenue-generating promotion to deliver tangible commercial value for businesses.

The core of the trade activities at DITF 2026 will take place on October 18 with Business Matching (B2B) sessions tailored to specific target groups:
These face-to-face sessions offer a golden opportunity for businesses to showcase their products, understand market demands, and discuss business partnerships. On the evening of the same day, an elegant Gala Dinner will provide an open networking space for delegates, businesses, and international partners to connect and strengthen relationships.
On October 19, international and domestic buyer delegations will participate in a Famtrip to inspect accommodation facilities, attractions, and tourism services in Da Nang before concluding the event. Combining B2B meetings with hands-on experiences allows partners to accurately assess supply capacity, service quality, and the development potential of local tourism products.
For years, the effectiveness of tourism promotion has often been measured by the number of trade shows attended, the scale of media campaigns, or brand awareness. However, in an increasingly competitive market, the true measure must lie in the ability to convert contacts into contracts, sales programmes, and actual tourist arrivals.
This is precisely the strategic direction that DITF 2026 is pursuing.
Instead of merely showcasing Da Nang's image to the world, DITF 2026 actively brings international partners directly to Da Nang to meet businesses, inspect infrastructure, experience products, and seek on-site business opportunities.

For local tourism businesses, the event is a rare opportunity to directly access international distribution networks right at the destination, helping to minimise partner acquisition costs and expand cooperation networks.
In particular, thanks to the diverse connectivity between beach tourism, luxury resorts, MICE, culture and heritage, along with Central Vietnam's rich product offerings, Da Nang possesses immense potential to build multi-destination itineraries, extend visitor stays, and increase tourist spending. DITF 2026, therefore, serves not only Da Nang but also opens up breakthrough partnership opportunities for the tourism business community nationwide.
Sharing his vision and expectations for the event, Mr. Cao Trí Dũng – Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, emphasised:
"We expect DITF to be more than just a place where businesses meet, introduce products, or promote destinations. More importantly, it must create connections that can translate into partnership opportunities and tangible business value. In a constantly changing tourism market, businesses need to be more proactive in understanding the needs of each market, improving product quality, and developing competitive experiences. To achieve this, close coordination is required among destinations, service providers, distributors, and international partners. Through DITF 2026, the Da Nang Tourism Association wishes to work with the business community to expand cooperation networks, strengthen market linkages, and make practical contributions to the development of tourism in Da Nang and Vietnam as a whole."
The development of DITF reflects the increasingly proactive role of associations and the business community in organising large-scale tourism promotion activities.
By closely connecting accommodation providers, tour operators, airlines, culinary businesses, and technology providers, DITF aims to establish a comprehensive cooperative ecosystem. Within this ecosystem, individual businesses do not just promote their own products but work together to enhance the overall competitiveness of the entire destination.
The success of a trade event is not measured by attendee numbers alone, but is proven by the partnerships signed, new products launched, and the volume of visitors attracted in subsequent tourist seasons. DITF 2026 continues to affirm Da Nang's position as an international tourism trade hub, driving sustainable transformation for Vietnam's tourism industry.
